About Dr. Vaughns

Dr. Nancy Vaughns is a board certified OBGYN and diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is a DaVinci certified robotic surgeon. Dr. Vaughns is passionate about a holistic approach when caring for patients, and embraces the philosophy that health is made up of body, mind, and spirit.  
She received her bachelor’s degree in Comprehensive Science from Villanova University and went on to get her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Vaughns commissioned into the US Army in 2009 as a recipient of the Health Profession Scholarship Program and served for 12 years, first as a reservist during medical school, and then as an active duty physician for 8 years. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, where she met her husband. After five years in paradise, Dr. Vaughns was stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX for her remaining three years in the Army. In Texas, Dr. Vaughns expanded her family with the addition of two little girls. In her free time, Dr. Vaughns loves to cook and host dinner parties for her friends and family. Dr. Vaughns is fluent in English and spoken Arabic and conversational in French.
